Dukunde Kawa natural coffee is second to none. Grown in area which is characterized by a unique micro-climate that creates a wonderful complex, distinct terroir that results in unforgettable coffee, in high peaks (6,600-foot elevation) and two annual periods of rainfall, coffee beans are from harvested ripest heavy-juicy coffee cherries. Beans are sorted by color and density at reception and then sun dried on African raised drying tables for almost 60 calendar days. This coffee opens with the unmistakable flavors of strawberries, blueberries, and chocolate. The pleasant acidity associated with strawberry is balanced by a chocolate sweetness. As the taste lingers, the strawberry fades into banana, which mixes with the heavy chocolate body into something truly amazing.
